Eigentlich gehört die Platte nur ganz am Rande mit auf dieses Label: etwas härterer schnörkelloser Rock mit vielen bluesigen und nur ein paar progressiven Einsprengseln. Die angelsächsischen Vorbilder nachahmend, konnten die fünf Berliner kaum Eigenständiges vorweisen. Obwohl sie mit ihrer Brain-LP beste Voraussetzungen für den Durchbruch gehabt hatten, verschwanden sie alsbald wieder in der Versenkung, ohne dem Deutschrock nennenswerte Anstöße gegeben zu haben. Die Stücke auf "Forgotten tapes" waren 1974 (nicht 1972 / 73, wie es fälschlicherweise auf dem LP-Label steht) aufgenommen worden zur Vorbereitung auf ihre damals dann doch nicht verwirklichte zweite LP. Erst 1981 waren diese Demos dann nachträglich als LP auf Ökotopia in einer begrenzten Auflage von 1000 Stück erschienen. Eine Platte, die man nicht unbedingt haben muß.

Actually, the record has just a marginal position on this label: a slightly heavier kind of straight rock with many bluesy and only a few progressive elements. Imitating their Anglo-Saxon idols, the five musicians from West Berlin didn’t really develop any originality. Although their self-titled debut LP on the famous Brain label could have been an excellent springboard for a breakthrough, they soon disappeared from the scene without having contributed anything worth mentioning to German Rock. The tracks on "Forgotten tapes" were recorded in 1974 (not 1972 / 73, as written by mistake on the LP label) when the band was planning a second album, which they didn’t finish, however. It was only in 1981 that the demos were released on the Ökotopia label as an LP in a limited edition of only 1000 copies. This record is not just a must, really.
