Three long tracks, well played and neatly recorded. The only release by the seven musicians from Hagen, with a touch of Grobschnitt. Recommended. With booklet of 20 pages.

Albatros aus Hagen spielten ausgefeilten Artrock mit langen Stücken, ähnlich wie Grobschnitt, die ja aus der selben Stadt kamen. „Garden of Eden“ war ihre einzige LP und wird heute mit 500 € bis 1000 € in neuwertigem Zustand gehandelt. Die Auflage betrug damals 500 Stück. Nach der Gründung Anfang 1974 hatte die Gruppe schnell mehrere Preise bei Wettbewerben im Sauerland und Umgebung gewonnen und war dort zu einer bekannten Größe geworden. Was ihr jedoch immer gefehlt hatte, war jemand, der sich mit vollem Einsatz um das Geschäftliche gekümmert hätte. So blieb ihnen leider die angemessene Anerkennung versagt. Bisher gab es nur die Neuausgabe als CD, jetzt auch als Vinyl-LP. Sie enthält ein Heft von 20 Seiten Umfang im LP-Format. Limitiert of 1000 handnumerierte LPs.

Albatros from Hagen played sophisticated art rock with long tracks, similar to Grobschnitt, who came from the same town. "Garden of Eden" was their only LP and is today traded at 500 € to 1000 € in mint condition. The edition was 500 copies at the time. After its foundation in early 1974, the group had quickly won several prizes at competitions in Sauerland and the surrounding area and had become a known quantity there. What they had always lacked, however, was someone to take care of business with full commitment. So, unfortunately, they were denied the appropriate recognition. Until now, there was only a new edition as a CD, now also as a vinyl LP. It contains a booklet of 20 pages in LP format. Limited to 1000 hand-numbered copies.
