Die CD enthält im wesentlichen den Abschiedsauftritt vom 14.11.1974 in Berlin. Die bisher erhältliche CD auf Spalax hat einen üblen Klang fast ohne Bässe, was nun behoben wurde. Dazu jetzt alle Stücke in voller Länge.

On CD the parting gig from 11/14/1974 in Berlin. Without the flaws of the formerly available CD by Spalanx which had a bad sound, almost no bass can be heard. Now all tracks in full length, in high sound quality.

Der letzte Auftritt von Agitation Free (mit Gästen) fand am 14.11.1974 in Berlin statt und wurde von Klaus D. Müller mitgeschnitten. Er wurde als CD bereits 1995 auf Musique Intemporelle und 1996 auf Spalax veröffentlicht, soweit die Bänder auffindbar waren, jedoch in schlechtem Klang, bei dem die Bässe kaum zu hören sind. Dieser Mangel wurde nun bei der Ausgabe auf Garden of Delights behoben. Im unmittelbaren Vergleich ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. Als zusätzliches Stück findet sich ein Blues. Außerdem sind nun „Someone’s secret“ und „We are men“ ungekürzt in voller Länge zu hören. Nur „Mediterranean flight“ stammt nicht von diesem Auftritt, sondern aus dem Hörspiel „Störenfried“ vom Sommer 1974. Insgesamt ist „Fragments“ nicht ganz so sphärisch und verspielt wie ihre Meisterwerke „Malesch“ und „2nd“.

Agitation Free’s last gig (with guests) was on 11/14/1974. It was recorded by Klaus D. Müller. The gig was already released on CD in 1995 by Musique Intemporelle, and in 1996 by Spalax as far as the tapes were found. Though the sound was bad, because of the basses hardly being audible. With the CD now released by Garden of Delights the shortcoming was overcome – that makes the CD as different as chalk and cheese compared to the earlier ones. Here you can find a bonus track too, a blues. In addition to that “Someone’s secret” and “We are men” are to be heard in their full length. Only “Mediterranean flight” isn’t from the gig mentioned above. It is part of the radio play “Störenfried” of summer 1974. All in all “Fragments” isn’t as spherical and dainty as their masterpieces “Malesch” and “2nd”, but much more improvised and more like rock.
