Eine echte Ausgrabung, erst kürzlich entdeckt. Sehr keyboardlastig, mit Mellotron, Querflöte und englischem Gesang. Saubere Studioaufnahmen. Die Wuppertaler Gruppe – im Grunde eine Nachfolgeband von Cannabis India – bestand nur von 1974 bis 1976. Sie nahm damals, 1974, die Stücke für eine LP auf, veröffentlichte sie aber nicht. Schade, denn beispielsweise auf dem Brain-Label hätte sie sich gut gemacht. Erst 2014 stieß eher zufällig ein Berliner darauf und brachte sie als LP auf seinem Korusuro-Label heraus. Sie wurde von den Hörern begeistert aufgenommen und allseits gelobt. Und nun also die CD-Ausgabe, gezogen von den Mutterbändern. Das Heftchen von 32 Seiten enthält eine ausführliche Bandgeschichte in deutsch und englisch, Photos, Songtexte usw. Eine Empfehlung.

The Wuppertal group – basically a successor band of Cannabis India – existed only from 1974 until 1976. Back then in 1974 they recorded some songs for an LP but did not release it. Which was a shame as it would have been a real asset e. g. on the Brain label. Only in 2014, a man from Berlin came up against it almost by chance and released it as an LP on his Korusuro label. It was received very well by the listeners and was much praised. And now finally the CD edition, drawn from the master tapes. The 32-page booklet contains a detailed band history in German and English, photographs, lyrics, etc. A highly recommended album.
