Sehr guter Symphonik-Rock mit Mellotron und Flöte, hervorragender Tastenarbeit und feiner Gitarre, ohne schwache Abschnitte. Drei der sechs Stücke sind ohne Gesang. In "Cosmic dreams at play" von Dag Erik Asbjørnsen wird "Point of eruption" unter den zehn besten Krautrock-LPs aller Zeiten aufgeführt, und das wohl nicht zu Unrecht. Zu bemängeln ist lediglich die kurze Spieldauer. Dank ihrer geringen Auflage von nur 200 Stück wird die Platte inzwischen mit 1000 bis 2000 Mark gehandelt. Auf Lost Pipedreams gab es schon einmal eine CD-Auflage davon, doch die war nicht knisterfrei und ist schon längst nicht mehr zu haben. Leider das einzige Werk der Gruppe aus Werne an der Lippe am nordöstlichen Rand des Ruhrgebiets. Neben Lightshine, Sub, Gäa, Epidaurus u.a. sicher eine der besten CDs auf vorliegendem Label. Mit Heftchen von 28 Seiten.

Great symphonic rock featuring mellotron and flute, excellent keyboard playing and a fine guitar, no weak passages. Three of the six tracks are instrumentals. In his book "Cosmic dreams at play" (Glasgow 1996), the Norwegian Dag Erik Asbjørnsen lists "Point of eruption" among the ten best Krautrock LPs of all time, and quite rightly so. The only drawback is its short playing time. Thanks to the smallness of the edition (only 200 copies), the record is now worth between 1000 DM and 2000 DM (US$500-1000) among collectors. It’s a pity that this is the only work the band from Werne an der Lippe, at the north-eastern edge of the Ruhr Area, has ever released. It is surely one of the best CDs on our label, besides Lightshine, Sub, Gäa, Epidaurus, Agitation Free, Try, et al. With 28-page coloured booklet.
